Wild West Boat Tours offer a number of daily trips and experieces from Blacksod Pier. You can explore the beautiful deserted Inishkea Islands which are believed to be named after a saint that lived there, called Saint Kea. There is two main islands, Inishkea North, and Inishkea South.

Guests have the opportunity to independently discover the islands. Witness the remnants of stone cottages dating back to the 1800s, which encompass the king’s residence, shebeen, educational institutions, a church, and a two-story shop. Additionally, the islands boast numerous notable historical landmarks, including The Alt Mór navigation tower, The Bailey Mór, an ancient Christian monastery, St. Colmcille's Church, and the former Norwegian whaling station. Walking maps containing details about these locations are readily available for exploration.
