Achill Island is Irelands biggest inhabited Island and boasts natural beauty, ruggedness, sandy beaches, cliffs and a wonderful welcoming people. Dugort pier is your landing place and is a short walk from the village of Dugort. You have plenty time to visit the Deserted village and The Achill Experience Aquarium & Visitor Centre. You can hire a bike and explore further to see places like Keel beach and the famous Keem Bay. You can also have a trip with us to see the Croughan Cliffs. Bus tours are also available throughout the day. The Banshee of Inisheeren sights is a new tour this year and is well worth embarking on. There are lots of cafes and pub/restaurants for you to enjoy on your day trip.
Croughan cliff tour
Croughan cliff tour takes you on an adventure from Dugort pier on Achill along the rugged coast past Sliabhmor, the seal caves, Annagh beach, Annagh head and finally The Croughan Cliffs. Those cliiffs are the 3rd highest cliffs in Europe at 688 metres or 2257 feet.
On the odd occasion when it's too rough to travel to the cliffs we can take you to see the Historic Village of Blacksod instead and visit Blacksod Lighthouse for a tour if you wish.
